Laura Schmitt

When I started my mentoring I was completely lost. I was in a job I hated but did not have the confidence to quit. In the end I was fired but due to my supportive and amazing mentor Aneta this actually turned into an amazing opportunity. I have moved into a number of jobs as a result of my mentoring that include precisely what I want to be doing. Aside from that my mentor has become a friend and I always look forward to our coffee sessions. Best money I have EVER spent!

Laura is employed as a Content Marketing Manager.

I am really grateful to being matched with my mentor. She was a perfect fit and it turned out that we are having a similar passion. It was great to have someone to check in with over the period of a year, someone who is listening and always having additional inputs, someone who is cheering me up in difficult times, someone who is pushing me further. I not only strengthened my self-confidence and gained clarity over the past year, I have also built a good relationship with my mentor that is going to continue. I can highly recommend WOMENTOR to anyone who wants to grow further!

Magdalena is the founder of the Y-Club, supporting young people to discover their career passion - their WHY. She joined as a mentee in 2022. She also is an educational researcher, international project manager, trainer & changemaker.

“What I loved about the WoMentor Mentoring, was the perfect matching. I was matched with two amazing female mentors, who were both working in the exact field I was starting in: Veronika Kovacsova and Margot Deerenberg, founders of the Coworking Space The Packhaus in Vienna. They had tons of experience and knowhow they could share with me. That was a big help!”

Teresa is the founder of Commonground Club, a modern business club for modern working women. She aims to connect and empower working women through curated content, products and events which focus on co-working and collaborating (both digital and IRL). Her new platform launched in early 2021. “I would like to have a relationship in which I feel comfortable to openly discuss thoughts, ideas and seek advice and feedback. My mentor should be open to discuss her career with me as well, so that we can have a dynamic relationship.”

Olivia O'Dwyer, mentee

Olivia moved from London to Vienna, and was looking to adapt to local habits in the workspace.

Her mentor is a big fan of mentoring and knows that ‘good mentoring makes the difference in a successful career’. She is used to introducing people to her network and looking forward to a dynamic and inspiring mentoring relationship with Olivia.
